Veterinary/Medical Office Microscope Service

Dayton Microscope provides on-site microscope service typically at veterinary and medical practices that are less than about 40 miles from Troy, Ohio 45373.   That is based on the idea that the vast majority of offices have only 1 or 2 microscopes and longer distances don't make economic sense.   If you are farther away and either have a larger number of microscopes or are willing to pay for the additional travel and time, let's talk!

Routine microscope service includes but not necessarily limited to:

  • thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all microscope external surfaces.
  • overall safety inspection
  • remove and inspect eye pieces, objectives and substage condenser.
  • clean and polish all lenses
  • reassemble
  • lubricate where necessary
  • operational test with prepared slide
  • make all necessary adjustment (condenser stop, stage stop, stage lock, etc.)
  • record microscope make, model, serial number for reference on Statement of Service and Invoice so that C.L.I.A. requirements are met.

Any specific information (make, model, approximate age, last time serviced, any known issues, etc.) you can provide prior to your service visit is appreciated and helpful.
